Smart home can be networked and controlled from a smartphone, tablet, PC or wearable
CHIP DESIGNER CSR has updated its CSRmesh Bluetooth Smart protocol, bringing on board a plethora of new home automation features.
CSRmesh Home Automation allows an unlimited amount of Bluetooth Smart enabled sensors and actuators to be simply networked together, making it suitable for applications such as heating control, ventilation and air conditioning, door locks and window sensors.
The protocol update means automation of a whole home can be controlled from a smartphone, tablet, PC or wearable device.
CSRmesh was launched as a developer kit last July, optimised for lighting control and allowing an unlimited number of Bluetooth Smart enabled devices to be networked together and controlled from a mobile device.
