Consumers prefer traditional channels, like a phone or website, when communicating with a company, according to June 2015 research.
Contact Solutions surveyed 1,004 US consumers who had shopped via mobile device in the past 12 months. Some 29.7% of respondents said that the phone was their preferred channel for communication with a company. Websites were another favored channel, 26% of mobile buyers said they preferred it.
