Recently, the Chinese producer Vido announced the launch of a new tablet that can be easily transformed into a notebook device thanks to a dedicated keyboard. The name of this new slate is Vido W11X, and among its main specs we get a 11.6-inch panel (1.366 x 768 pixels), and an Intel Core M 5Y10C processor clocked at 2.0 GHz.
There’s also Intel HD Graphics 5300, 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM memory, 128 GB SSD hard-drive, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and HDMI output. Vido W11X runs Windows 8.1 operating system and on the connectivity side we have a USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and TF card expansion slot.
We get to know that the USB 3.0 port will allow us to connect some accessories to the tablet, like a wired mouse, a keyboard or any other compatible device. From the pictures above, we notice a pretty similar keyboard to that found on Asus notebooks, a nice feature after all. The price is yet to be announced.
